Awaziem joins the ‘Oyinbo Wall’ partnership of Leon Balogun and William Ekong-Troost in a three-man defence.
Shehu Abdullahi and Ola Aina are the wing-backs.
In midfield are Wilfred Ndidi, John Ogu and Mikel while Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacholead the attack.
This is the first time Rohr will be using the three-man defence since he became Super Eagles boss.
This is however not the first time a coach will be adopting this system with the Super Eagles.
Back in 1997, then Super Eagles coach Philippe Troussier used it during the qualifiers for the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
